Swimming Against the Current

The coronavirus pandemic has made me more aware of the individuals that hold my community together. This painting depicts one of these essential workers. I am grateful for his work in what is often a thankless, yet vital job. To the teachers, nurses, social workers, therapists, non-profit employees, and many others, I see the good you’re doing.
